Homeschool Hangout
The library is starting a NEW Homeschool Hangout for all ages. Starting in January, the Homeschool Hangout will be held on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of every month through May. Times will vary weekly so check this website for exact start time. Families will enjoy free play, activities, library-hosted events, and more! Each event will also include an exchange table. Families are encouraged to bring their outgrown items – toys, books, clothes, homeschooling materials, etc. The programs are open to the public and all ages are welcome. January 22 Art for the Library – “Love Our Library” Project This week’s activity will be creating artwork for the library’s February Artist of the Month, in which the children’s art will be displayed at the library. Here are the ways your child can participate: Option 1: Have your child create an art piece at home inspired by the theme “Love Our Library.” They can bring it next week to Homeschool Hangout to finish up and leave it with the library.
