We invite you to join the Boulder Junction Public Library’s Chat ‘n Craft sessions on the first and third Wednesdays of each month from 10am – 12pm in the Community Center. Whether you knit, crochet, bead, color, or anything and everything in between, join to share ideas, socialize, and learn new things. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own supplies – the library does not have many materials on hand.   • Homeschool Hangout

    The library is starting a NEW Homeschool Hangout for all ages. Starting in January, the Homeschool Hangout will be held on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of every month through May. Times will vary weekly so check this website for exact start time. Families will enjoy free play, activities, library-hosted events, and more! Each event will also include an exchange table. Families are encouraged to bring their outgrown items – toys, books, clothes, homeschooling materials, etc. The programs are open to the public and all ages are welcome.     Please join us for Mah Jongg at the Boulder Junction Public Library on Mondays from 1-4 pm. Mah Jongg is a traditional Chinese game, played by four people around a square table. The game is played with tiles rather than playing cards. The aim is to be the first player to get a complete hand. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own sets if they have them.   • Winter Wellness: Float Therapy with Seasons of Balance

    Vanessa and Will Tippett from Seasons of Balance of Minocqua will share the benefits of Float Therapy sessions. Float Therapy involves the float therapy pod – also known as a sensory deprivation tank – a sight and soundproof environment filled with 10 inches of water that has been saturated with Magnesium sulfate, allowing the body to float easily. The pod deprives senses which allows for an engagement of deep meditation and healing.
